Mobile’s contribution to economic growth
GSMA research shows that the mobile market in Nigeria makes an
important contribution to the economy. It contributed US$21 billion in
2017, representing 5.5% of Nigeria’s total GDP. In addition, the growth

direct and indirect jobs.
