Sailing and sailing for hours and hours. The wind was dying down but I kept going. The sun was setting fast. Faster than I had thought. A beautiful watercolour across the horizon and suddenly it was gone. Everything was black, pitch black.

I looked around scared. “I can do this,” I thought. “I’m the one who wanted to come here.” I kept sailing along even in the darkness. Then everything froze. No light, no movement, no nothing. “Think about light and warmth and candles,” I said to myself. “As William Shakespeare said, How far that little candle throws its beams! So shines a good deed in a naughty world.”

Right after I said that a single candle appeared in the center of my boat. I pinched myself and looked around. I wasn’t dreaming, this was real.
