GALAXY MIRROR GLAZE CAKE

Glaze Ingredients:

7+½ tsp of powdered gelatin

¾ cup of cold water

2 cups of chopped white chocolate

1+½ cup of white sugar

⅜ cup of water

¾ cup of light corn syrup

¾ cup of sweetened condensed milk

Food colouring (white, black, blue, pink)

Procedure:

1. Pour cold water and gelatin into a small bowl. Leave the bowl for about 10 minutes to let the gelatin bloom. It needs to be the consistency of jello.

2. Place the chopped white chocolate into a large bowl.

3. Add the sugar, water, and corn syrup to a small saucepan on medium heat. Let it boil for about 2-3 minutes, then remove from the heat and stir in the firm gelatin and condensed milk.

4. Pour this new mixture over the chopped white chocolate, place a towel over the bowl, and let it sit for 2 minutes. Voila, your glaze!

5. Remove the towel and whisk your glaze to get rid of any lumps that may have formed.

6. Strain your glaze (optional).

7. Divide your glaze into four parts (two large and two small).

Note: When beginning this recipe, you should already have baked and iced two 8x8 cakes. You can use any icing and cake recipes of your choosing!
