Supplies
In packing for OA trips, especially backpacking trips, I've learned that less is more. I try to keep my supplies to a minimum, for logistical and creative purposes. It's true that, to an extent, the supplies don't matter; an artist can make do with as little or as much as what's given to them. I'll bring a fine line Pigma Micron pen, a water brush (a portable brush with a barrel that I fill with water), a black LePen brush pen, my Winsor and Newton travel watercolor palette, and a 3" x 5" Moleskine. Sometimes, if I can afford the luxury, I will bring a bottle of white out to add opaque highlights that can dry quickly.
