Our darling, Emma Dillon, graced the Bikini Pro stage for her Pro debut and was all class. This stunning young model managed to step away with a well-deserved second place to the former world champion Christina Silva. No easy feat and a win that has certainly put her on the world map. She was supported both off and onstage (or at least backstage) by her partner who also competed in the amateur fitness model division.
One of our veteran, most respected, and deeply loved athletes took to the stage with her BEST package to date and shone like a star. The amazing Melissa Zimmerman, whom you may all know and love from her backstage role at the various Australian shows, made me (& everyone else in the Aussie family) so incredibly proud when she strutted away with a 5th place in the Diva Fitness Model 35+, top 10 in Diva Fitness Model Short & Top 3 Design Award. Melissa had two of her amateur athletes competing with her, and they both walked away with top 10 placings – Belinda Galea placed 7th in Diva Fitness Model 35+ and Suzette Flores placed 9th.
One of our very own angels, Casey Hennock, competed in the Transformation Division, qualifying for the Worlds after a beautiful stage performance and a well-deserved 2nd placing. We couldn’t be more proud.
We went on to further dominate, with the addition of a new Bikini Diva Pro to our ranks, when the stunning Jessica Katsambis dominated the Diva Bikini Tall category for the winning title. Jess was a clear stand out on the night.
And lastly, as I round out the final outcomes, I can graciously thank all those who have supported me, believed in me & been there for me during my personal challenges to the road of my own crowning moment – the ultimate win in my career to date, the North American Pro Fitness Champion 35+ and then followed by a 2nd Place in the Pro Fitness Diva Opens.
I couldn’t be more proud, or full of gratitude, and I would never have felt as beautiful as I did on that stage were it not for the amazing talents of Anne from All 4 Me Online.
As I sign off, for this edition, I am already well underway in my own preparartions for the impending World Championships in the UK and supporting an absolutely unbelievable team for what I am sure will be our biggest Aussie moment yet! Look out World….. The Aussies are coming for you!
