the pro-stage level. But I have always told myself the stories of, "you are not good enough", "you cannot match up to their level", "you are not in that calibre of physique", and the list goes on! I remember telling myself those very statements well before I decided to even compete with the WBFF. I knew I wanted compete with the WBFF at some stage, I just told myself do little comps first as a test run. A little boost-the-confidence-up kind of gig.

Does all this sound familiar? Are the stories you tell yourself the main reason you aren't stepping out of our comfort zone and achieving some of what you want most?

I am currently a few weeks into my prep for worlds and I am full of mixed emotions. I am nervous, motivated, anxious, impatient, worried, driven and the list goes on! I highly value personal integrity and I try to share real images and experiences throughout my fitness journey on social media platforms, such as IG. I do hope that it inspires more people to find their inner confidence to achieve goals most important to them.

Do you wish to compete with the WBFF? Its glitzy, glamorised, full of beautiful people, and extremely fun! I cannot encourage you enough to try! And you don't leave that stage with a placing, know you have the courage to attempt what many could not, but most importantly, you have the courage to attempt what you once thought you could not. That in itself is a massive feat and huge accomplishment. So why wait, let's do it. Prove to ourselves the potential we each possess.
