Sapp has good reason
to be excited about the
New Year. With a new
album out and a possible reality
show in the works, Sapp has high
hopes for what the coming year can
bring. Although things are running
pretty smoothly for Sapp right now,
let there be no mistake; he has
seen his share of pain and sorrow.

Sapp’s wife, MaLinda died
from colon cancer in 2010, leaving
him to raise their three children
by himself. Sapp explains how
hard it was to keep moving forward. “I was in a position I was
never in before, and it was hard,
but I always learned being a winner is a mindset,” he says.
Sapp was inspired to write an
album reflecting his positive attitude, simply calling it I Win. This
was the most challenging album
Sapp had ever produced because
it was the first time Sapp was
