Hi everyone,
We are on the train to Beijing to visit our
next destination. Can you guess where we
are off to?
It’s over 5,500 miles long and it took more
than 1800 years to build.
Did you get it? Yes, we are off to the Great
Wall. The coin we tossed landed on the
capital of the country so I decided to show
Russie the Great Wall first. I have been
there many times so I will proudly be my
teacher’s tour guide.
We arrive in the early afternoon and it is
packed with tourists. Various languages
can be heard around and everyone seems
to be taking in the beauty of the moun-
tains.
Russie approaches a board with some
facts about the Wall and reads them out.
