Bring a photo which illustrates one of your happiest moments throughout the past year and tell the students
about it. Then put them in groups and explain they need to answer the following questions about the
previous twelve months.
Walk around and monitor the activity. You may need to help with some vocabulary.
Ask your students to work on their own and write down their top three goals for the New Year. Encourage
them to share some of their goals with the rest of the class.
