Create a vision board
I love vision boards and I believe that they are a great way to manifest our dreams. But how about if we create a
board which shows our goals for the coming school year and also the projects we would like to involve our students
in. You will need a large notice board or a piece of cardboard, some paper and crayons/pencils, etc. First discuss
with your students what you intend to achieve by the end of the school year and also what local and/or international
projects you could work on and then get creative. I would do some research on some exciting national and
international school projects first and prepare a list of the most appropriate ones before the lesson.
Guess the False information
I often use this activity with my new students. I prepare 3 facts about myself, one of which is FALSE. Then the
students try to guess which the FALSE statement is.
If you have some spare time on your hands, you could use the free PowerPoint game created by Tekhnologic. It is
called 50-50. Simply download it from their website and edit the slides with your information.

Write a letter to your future self
Ask the students to write a letter to their future-self at the time when they finish the school year. They could write
about their expectations, goals and what they would like to have achieved by the end of year-term. Collect the letters
and keep them safe till the end of the school year when you could give them back to see if they have lived up to their
expectations.
