Write down the sentences below on the board. Ask the class to make two rows facing each other. Each
facing pair should discuss the statements for 60 seconds. Once the time is up, one of the rows rotates so
each student has a new partner. Then they have to discuss the next statement. The activity repeats until all
statements are discussed.

Ask the students what the statements above have in common. Hopefully they will come up with the topic of
HAPPINESS. Put the students into 4 groups and assign a statement per group. Ask them to find images
online or their own which illustrate the meaning of the statements. Once the students are ready, let them
explain why they’ve chosen these images.
