myself was, anytime I have a portrait
session anywhere in Detroit, shoot
somewhere I've never shot.” In
his piece, “Nothing Stops Detroit”,
a woman casually leans back
against a storefront, beautifully lit
by a ruby neon sign. The viewer is
immediately pulled onto the city
streets, a passer-by sharing in the
exact moment when Crosson took
the picture.
