For the past 11 years Ms. Collins has worked as a leader for Enfield Public Schools at JFK Middle School. The previous two years Ms. Collins served as JFK' s Princishe served as Assistant Principal. Prior to joining EPS, Ms. Collins began her career in Springfield Public Schools as a third grade English and mathematics teacher. From there she also brings experiences gained as a K-8 guidance counselor and department chair. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her own educational journey as well. Ms Collins holds a B.A. in Psychology from UMASS, ! " # tary Education from Westfield $ "% $% tional Psychology from American & ' ministrator Certificate from Westfield State. These varied experiences have helped her to enrich her skill base as an administrator and mentor. Jennifer Miller Jennifer Miller is excited to say that the school year at Prudence Crandall is off to a great start. In her first year as principal of the school, Ms. Miller has focused the beginning of the year on Prudence Crandall PRIDE. Students are learning about patience, respect, integrity, determination, and engagement. Ms. Miller first became interested in education after volunteering in her own children’ s classrooms. Since then, she earned her Bachelor’ s degree at Providence College, a Master’ s in Elementary Education from Eastern Connecticut State University, and her Sixth Level in Educational Leadership from the University of Connecticut. Prior to joining Enfield Public Schools, Ms. Miller worked as a resident principal at an elementary school in Vernon. She also brings 2nd and 5th grade teaching experience, as well as knowledge gained as an instructional coach in literacy and numeracy. Ms. Miller is excited to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents of Prudence Crandall in order Principal, Prudence Crandall Elementary School Steve Sargalski Principal, John F. Kennedy Middle School After leading Enfield High School as an assistant principal for 13 years, Steve Sargalski is excited to utilize his knowledge and expertise at JFK. With his administrative experience, Mr. Sargalski also brings his knowledge gained from nine years of teaching science at Southington High School and Plainville High School. Mr. Sargalski holds a B.A. in Philosophy/ Biology from Fordham University, a Master’ s of Education from Saint Joseph College, and a Sixth Year degree in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University. Mr. Sargalski is very
