You may not be able to pronounce these German dishes, but you’re invited to eat them at Heroes American Grille in Weaver. These are just a few of the dishes that are found on the German Night menu on Wednesdays. Each of the five dishes and nine sides are made from scratch by German Chef, Axel Gardner, and are available from 4:00 pm until they’re gone. Heroes has been a go-to for good food and good fun for years. The sports bar complete with pool tables, karaoke, darts, video games, trivia, and regular 16 June 2017 live music is a staple on Highway 21 be- tween Anniston and Jacksonville. Heroes owner, Marc Spaulding, says he tried German night a few years ago, without a German chef, “We got the recipes and cooked it up the way you’re supposed to do it, but it didn’t have that touch.
