coffee house.
The breakfast menu will include dishes such
as Eggs Benedict, Scotch eggs, crepes, and
more. Leo is also considering the idea of a
sushi day perhaps for the lunch or dinner
menu.
The expected business hours for Taste of
Eden are Monday through Wednesday
6:00 am - 3:00 pm and Thursday through
Saturday 6:00 am - 11:00 pm. Karla plans
to host live music and poetry nights on the
evenings the bakery is open late. “We have
the vision of people walking down Noble
Street,” she says. Karla and Leo hope that
the coffee house will serve as a place for
people to stop in and have a cup of coffee
or piece of cake before going out to the bars
downtown.
INSIGHT
Karla and Leo host cake decorating classes
at The Peerless Grille, and plan to continue
that tradition once Taste of Eden is open.
Leo hopes to later incorporate cooking
classes as well. ✽
