2018 Journey for Hope Walk
at Choccolocco Park - Everyone's healing
journey after sexual violence is unique. The
2nd Chance, Inc. Journey For Hope Walk
creates a space for victim/survivors and
those who support them to celebrate that
experience.
This year's walk will be on April 14th at
the Choccolocco Park, Oxford. Walking
and activities will start at 9 AM. Our event
concludes with our community picnic that
begins at 11:00 AM.

on April 19, 2018, from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m.
Jordan Acton of The Main Olive, Oxford, AL,
will present a program on Cooking With
Spice. Jordan will teach unique methods
and shortcuts to incorporate different fla-
vored olive oils and balsamic vinegars into
our daily cooking, as well as introduce us
to new recipes. You will also have the op-
portunity to taste a sample of selected oils
and vinegars. To reserve your spot, call An-
niston Museum of Natural History at 256-
237-6766. Reservations are required. This
presentation is limited to 35 people. Cost is
$5.00 per person or free to members. Pay-
ment is to be made at the time of registra-
tion.

Oxford! After a sold-out show here at OPAC
in May 2015, we're bringing this hilarious
musical back to our stage. Inspired by a
hot flash and a wine bottle, writer Jeanie
Linders created the show as a celebration
of women who are on the brink of, in the
middle of, or have survived “The Change.”
