People say that when you turn 40 everything goes downwards.
Well, in my case, that was very true. My mother and sisters all
had the same eyelids and hated them. It wasn’t until I watched a
wedding video of myself and caught a close-up side view of my
eyes, I was so upset. I knew I had to do something about it.
During the consultation I was shown many before and after
pictures, which made me feel completely at ease. I even saw two
ladies coming out of a consultation, who were having the same
procedure, and were extremely pleased with their potential
results.
The only option for me was surgery. After years of Botox and
expensive creams, I searched the internet and went on a mission
to find a surgeon. It’s not as easy as you think, especially when
you call a clinic who are not very helpful. That was until I called

On the day of my surgery I was so excited but nervous. As soon
as I came into theatre Katherine, the theatre nurse, was very
friendly and held my hand
throughout. I can honestly say
it didn’t hurt and I remember
chatting the whole way through.

I was swollen and had a small
amount of bruising but went
into work the following day. This
small procedure has changed my
life! I not only look younger, but
it has given me so much more
confidence.
