Russell Brand: Exposed // 12 Dec

One of the biggest names in UK comedy,
Russell Brand, is back with nine UK dates
this winter. The Exposed tour dates will
be the first chance for fans to see Russell
live since his mammoth Messiah Complex
tour of 2013/14, as he takes in select
intimate venues around the country. “What
is real? Who are we? What is the solution?
And where did this baby come from? In
Russell Brand: Exposed, the controversial comic explores these
themes along with media, politics, sex, fatherhood and death. And I
should know, because I am him.”

Brighton Santa Dash // 10 Dec

The Santa Dash is always great fun and amusing to see. It makes a
great photo! Parents bring their children down to watch, so there is
a kids 400m race before the main event at 10:20am. The Brighton
Santa Dash race route is a nice flat out and back run. The course
heads west up the seafront esplanade for 2.5km. Once you get to
Hove Lagoon you turn around and head back to the finish line.

Henning Wehn: Westphalia Is Not

Join German comedy ambassador,
Henning Wehn for an evening of Teutonic
jolliness at its best. After his last show
tackled those well-known staples of
light entertainment that are the British
obsession with homeownership and the
self-serving nature of most fundraising
efforts, this time Henning’s having an
unbiased look at immigration. He also
wonders if, generally speaking, people are competent. Luckily, in
his case this doesn’t matter as either he’s funny or he lives up to a
national stereotype. It’s a win-win situation. Come along. Or else.

Primal Scream // 14 Dec

Primal Scream released their new single, Feeling Like A Demon Again
– a simmering synth pop anthem – on October 28th on the band’s
own First International label through Ignition Records. Feeling Like
A Demon Again is taken from their critically acclaimed 11th studio
album, Chaosmosis, and written and produced by Bobby Gillespie,
Andrew Innes and Bjorn Yttling. Having had to cancel a host of
summer dates due to Bobby’s accident, the band have been back
doing what they do best - playing incendiary shows.
