Sleeping Beauty // 3 Nov
Every child’s favourite fairytale, Sleeping Beauty is the classic story of
love and innocence, mystery and magic set to Tchaikovsky’s sublime
score. Stunning choreography, sumptuous costumes and wonderful
sets form the fantasy world in which the Lilac Fairy struggles against
the evil Carabosse. Highlights include the famous ‘Rose Adagio’,
when Princess Aurora is introduced to four princes. This ravishing
production of Sleeping Beauty is certain to leave you refreshed,
relaxed and alert. It shimmers like an exquisite dream.
A Princess Undone // 1-5 Nov
Kensington Palace, 1993. She was the Diana of her day. That day has
gone. But HRH The Princess Margaret, the most glamorous figure of
her generation, has one final chance to be of service. While the royal
family is at Balmoral, she removes several bags of correspondence
from the Queen Mother’s home, including potentially sensational
letters from Prince Charles – and Diana, Princess of Wales. She
means to burn them all. But there are other papers, relating to
Margaret herself, and an older scandal… When an ex-gangster arrives
to bring her even closer to her past, the Queen’s sister has the choice
to make or break her family yet again. Stephanie Beacham stars in
one of the most riveting new plays of the year.

Swan Lake // 2 Nov
Swan Lake is arguably
one of the most loved
and challenging ballets,
not least thanks
to Tchaikovsky’s
instantly recognisable
and timeless score.
From the impressive
splendour of the palace
ballroom to the moonlit
lake where swans glide
in perfect formation, the perfect romantic ballet of all time, Swan Lake
captures, like no other, the full range of human emotions – from hope
to despair, from terror to tenderness, from melancholy to ecstasy.
Tom Odell // 4 Nov
After his first album, Tom Odell did what many artists have often done
before him; he called a halt to the circus, booked himself a flight and
went off to New York where he rented a tiny apartment in the East Village,
ultimately disappearing into a city where it’s easy to be a stranger and
easier still to be alone. Dominated by a grand piano, this tiny apartment
refuge in a city where he knew very few people would come to inspire
a regrouping of thought and intent, and ultimately a redefinition of what
Tom Odell is all about; this is where work began on Wrong Crowd.
