Riddle & Finns is located right on the beach in
Brighton, which means you and your loved one
can relish the most romantic of views as you
enjoy your meal. With wax-splattered candles
on every table and friendly and unobtrusive
staff catering to your every whim, here you can
while away a wonderful evening with the one
you love. Romance can be felt as you read
through the menu together spotting dishes
such as braised octopus with potato salad;
a half lobster with mango, green beans and
a citrus dressing; and of course, the ultimate
aphrodisiac - a variety of delicious oysters.
An imposing white building with characterful
sash windows and a powerful, architecturally
impressive facade, the Hilton Avisford Park is
a former prep school just outside of Arundel.
With its fountain, modern sculptures and pretty
garden, it’s a great shout for a romantic night
away. At the hotel’s Cedar restaurant, a warm
space decorated in plum and cream with the
names of head boys at the former school
engraved on the wall panels, the food served is
traditionally English; dine on smoked duck, or
baked sea bass in the split-level restaurant that
overlooks the pretty putting green.
