" We are immensely proud of all our students ' performances ,” added Ann . “ This excellent year group showed great engagement and commitment throughout their time at Hazelwick and they fully deserve their success ."
Hazelwick student , Amy Cooper , 18 , had the surprise of her life when she opened her envelope . “ I had checked my results online and could see that I had had my university offer confirmed , but that was conditional on getting one A * and two As , so that ’ s what I thought I had got ,” said Amy . “ But , three A * s ! I just wasn ’ t expecting it .”
“ If it wasn ’ t for Hazelwick School and the teachers there , I wouldn ’ t have achieved this ,” she added . “ They helped me with mock interviews and essays , and really prepared me for the university application process . I ’ d especially like to thank Latin teacher , Mr Hopkins – as a Cambridge graduate he gave me valuable advice and was especially generous with his time .”
