Further up the coast and out of town, the
roads began to narrow and wind even more,
but the 108 seemed equally happy on these.
Its steering is accurate, and thanks to the
famous Peugeot suspension, the ride is really
smooth, often creating the impression of a
much larger car.

A quick press of the roof button, and I was
enjoying a vast expanse of blue sky and
sunshine above – something that brightened
up my day, and allowed me to enjoy the

As I drove back to Hastings, I was aware of
this pretty seaside town's rich history; however,
also of its redevelopment and promise of
a future ahead. I feel the same is true with
Peugeot. Drawing on a fine motoring heritage,
the 108 proves that the brand is still innovating,
and not afraid to improve on what has come
before. An attitude that does it credit, and
results in fantastic cars such as this one.
