Samantha Barks // 18 Jun
After rising to fame as a contestant on BBC talent show, I’d Do
Anything, in 2008, Samantha Barks has wowed fans and critics alike
with her stunning voice and captivating performances in film, theatre
and television. She has since undertaken starring roles in the UK
touring productions of Cabaret and Oliver! Following her performance
as Éponine in the West End production of Les Misérables, and the
completion of parts in upcoming feature films Bitter Harvest and
Christmas Candle, her career sees her return to music.
Bodiam Castle’s Father’s Day BBQ // 19 Jun
This medieval, moated castle near Robertsbridge comes to life with
a cast of colourful characters with some intriguing tales to tell. On
father’s day, you can make your dad feel like king of the castle, with a
special BBQ (noon to 2pm) and a chance to try on some armour.

Chichester Garden Fest // 20-22 Jun
Bateman’s Father’s Day Tea // 19 Jun
The former home of Rudyard Kipling, one of the country’s greatest
writers and creator of The Jungle Book, Bateman’s is the perfect place
for a day out with your dad. You can see the study where Kipling
wrote some of his most famous works, admire his immaculate Rolls
Royce, and stroll in the rose-filled gardens. Why not also treat dad to a
traditional cream tea or a special father’s day tea? The choice is yours.

Chichester Garden Fest is a new event taking place in the Assembly
Room, North Street, Chichester from Monday 20th June to
Wednesday 22nd June. Lecturers include: Tom Hart Dyke from
Lullingstone Castle in Kent, Chris Beardshaw talking about 'The
English Garden’, and lots more. Each day you can enjoy a welcoming
cup of coffee followed by a lecture, a delectable buffet lunch with wine
and a visit to Chichester's own secret garden, followed by a second
lecture and afternoon tea.
