BRIGHTON LAWYER TO DODGE CROCODILES ON THE ZAMBEZI FOR CHILDREN ’ S CHARITY

Hurtling down a hippoinfested river in a canoe proved to be a memorable experience for Red Nose Day celebrities a few years ago and now a Brightonbased lawyer is taking the same challenge to raise money for the children ’ s charity , Winston ’ s Wish , the leading childhood bereavement charity in the UK that offers practical support and guidance to bereaved children and their families .
Lee Hills , a Brighton lawyer who lives in Cuckfield , near Haywards Heath , has decided to take on the challenge of rafting 100km along Africa ’ s Zambezi River between 10th – 17th September , to raise money for this worthwhile cause .
Known locally as the ‘ Great River ’, the Zambezi flows for 2,700kms through six countries on its path from Zambia to the Indian Ocean . This unique and demanding challenge will start at Victoria Falls and take in unforgiving rapids . Lee will expect a rough ride , with sweltering heat , humidity , blistered hands and harsh conditions - all the while sleeping under canvas on the bank at night - and will paddle and raft his way along the course of the river to the journey ’ s end at Chabango Falls .
Lee really needs your help to smash his fundraising target of £ 4,000 before the 24th of June , and should you wish to make a donation , you can do so via his Just Giving page at www . justgiving . com / Lee-Hills1 .
