The car's 148bhp 2-litre engine means that it is
certainly no slouch, delivering 0-62mph in 8.6
seconds and a top speed of 132mph. There is
also a petrol version which will do 55mpg and
is about half a second slower on the 0-62mph
front.
Decoupled dampers, mounted on triplepath support bearings, promise better rolling
refinement and there is an option to have
variable damper controls as well.
As ever, the grin received when driving it,
especially whizzing round bends, is as wide as
it is earnest.
