Top Spot
Beech Hurst Park is a great day out for all the family. This popular local
heritage park covers an area of just under six hectares and is situated on
the western edge of Haywards Heath. It hosts some beautiful views of the
South Downs and has a wide range of facilities on offer, making it popular
with locals and visitors alike. Included within the list of fun things to do is
the excellent miniature railway, a family restaurant, a superb playground,
and a lovely picnic lawn.
Arts Festival // June
Ardingly College near Haywards Heath is staging a major arts festival from
June 24-27. It is open for schoolchildren across Sussex who will take part
in workshops run by big name professionals from the worlds of theatre,
music and the arts. There will be a chance to see Dame Judi Dench as
the patron, and gigs by box office stars including comedian Russell Kane,
