improving my levels of physical activity.”
The exercise referral scheme provides a 10week personalised program with safe and
effective exercise for patients with medical
conditions. Empowering positive lifestyle
changes, the team provide advice, motivation
and support to patients who would benefit
from increased physical activity.
“Having recently been back to see my doctor I
was surprised to learn that my medication was
no longer needed and my blood pressure has
returned to a normal level,” explains Paul.
Delighted with the results, Tim commented, “I
am extremely pleased that exercise played a
fantastic role in helping Paul to cure his type
2 diabetes. Our programme aims to improve
every patient’s quality of life and in this case the
turnaround has been remarkable.”
