The Perfect Liner
The Perfect False Lashes
I hear people say all the time how top liner
scares the life out of them! This needn't be
the case! My top tip when applying liner is
to never close your eyes. You may have
had this happen to you, if you close your
eyes then you will get a jagged line as
opposed to a slick smooth finish.
• As before, make sure you have applied
and generous dose of mascara, this will
guarantee a seamless finish when the
lashes are applied.
• Tip your head back, so you are looking
down at the mirror. I have always favoured
gel liner, I find it a lot easier to use than a
liquid, and a lot less mess. You can use
an angled brush to achieve a slight flick
on the tail of your liner or even a fine artist
paintbrush, (from any art and craft store)
– try them both and see which you prefer.
• With your head tilted back you will have
a much clearer view of your lash line.
Remember to take your time, gently
sweep your liner across your lashline. The
gel liner is really pliable and easy to correct
any mistakes.
• Always treat your lashes to a generous
helping of mascara after; it removes any
loose eyeshadow dust particles and
compliments the look beautifully.
• Apply lash glue to the spine of the false
lash. Leave for 30 seconds to 1 minute
for the glue to go tacky, the last thing you
want is to apply lashes immediately – they
will slide all over the place and create a
whole lot of mess!
• With your head tilted backwards
