Rye Bay Scallop Week // Feb
If you love scallops, you can’t miss the
annual Rye Bay Scallop Week. Many different
restaurants participate in this anticipated
festival, showcasing an array of scrumptious
scallop dishes. There are also plenty of scallopthemed events including cooking demos, live
music, tasting sessions and lots more.

Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is home to wildlife
galore, and simply by taking a walk through
this exquisite area, you can discover animals,
birds, plant life, habitats, and history. The
Nature Reserve lies within a large triangle of
land extending south from Rye, along the River
Rother, past Rye Harbour to the sea, westward
to Winchelsea Beach and northwards along
the River Brede.
