BUSINESS DU VIN
Take a pebble. Throw it. That's how close you are to the seafront. Nestled
in the quaint narrow cobble-stoned alleyways of The Lanes, on the site of
a former wine merchant, you'll find Hotel du Vin. A mere 15-minute walk
from the train station and only 50 minutes from London Gatwick airport
by direct train, the hotel is accessible to national and international guests
alike.
milk for your tea and Nespresso coffee machine, Egyptian cotton bed
linen, deep baths, monsoon showers and fluffy towels, all to make you
feel right at home.
Less than two years ago the hotel could have become a memory, the
place you once went to. They were starting to fall out of favour, and
the hotel felt a little tired. In the past 18 months Hotel du Vin have redesigned the bar area, re-launched the terrace, and redecorated all of
the bedrooms. But don’t let them stop there – there are still more plans
afoot. More updates and redecorations are in the pipeline and the team
are excited to announce the arrival of the new general manager, Gianluca
Cugnetto. Gianluca joins the group with a wealth of experience in luxury
hospitality and is sure to give the hotel a good shake up over the next few
months… watch this space!
The hotel can fall into two categories: the ‘best kept secret’ and the ‘you
must go here’. Nonchalantly tucked away on Ship Street, they’re not as
big and flashy as some of the others, but they are most certainly boutique
and fabulous!
But let's get down to business; choosing the right venue can really make
a business event. At Hotel du Vin Brighton you've got an inspiring and
architecturally striking venue, truly individual and inspiring meeting rooms,
and a range of flexible packages and free Wi-Fi.
Local and want to get involved in the fun? Each month sees a new
Cocktail Masterclass and a new Wine Tasting session from £25 per
person. There’s always a new ale in the Pub and with regularly refreshed
menus in the Bar, Bistro and Pub there’s no reason to have the same
again, unless of course you are unable to order anything but the mojito –
but who could blame you?
With five very different function rooms and a range of other areas to play
with, Hotel du Vin is able to accommodate a range of different events.
Function spaces vary in size from 10 to 100 people seated – ideal for
any event you may wish to host whether it's teambuilding, networking,
an away day, a product launch, training, a drinks reception, seminar or
meeting.
With new ventures on the horizon, and with Gianluca at the helm, the only
way is up for Hotel du Vin in Brighton.
When the work is done, play can begin with a wine tasting or cocktail
masterclass with one of the trained Sommeliers, or mixologists.
Alternatively why not wind down in Pub du Vin, a traditional pub with a du
Vin twist where you can sample a selection of great local ales.
