Shining stars lead the way as Worthing Theatres announce full cast for their 2015 Pantomime
From Strictly to Dancing on Ice and A1, this year’s Cinderella is sure to be a ball, live at the Pavilion Theatre, Worthing,
Friday 4th December 2015 to Sunday 3rd January 2016.
Two of the biggest stars of the ballroom and
the ice rink join forces in the classic rags-toriches fairy tale to create a magical experience
that will spellbind audiences.
The magic of pantomime will be brought to
life by Strictly Come Dancing professional
winner Camilla Dallerup, who will be waving
her enchanted wand as the Fairy Godmother.
Alongside her, cutting a dashing figure and
gliding his way into the heart of Cinderella, will
be world champion skater and Dancing on Ice
star Matt Evers.
This Christmas pop heartthrob Mark Read will
be charming audiences with his musical might,
best known as a member of hit boyband A1
and for their smash-hit single “Take On Me”.
With two decades in showbiz among his many
credits the talented singer/songwriter will be
setting the festive mood as he slips into the
shoes of Dandini.
Transforming from her rags into the stunning
ball gown will be the dazzling Cara Dudgeon,
who will be playing the role of Cinderella. There
is also a welcome return for Worthing favourites
Keith and Ben Simmons, who not only star in
the show but have been writing their magic on
the new enthralling script that is guaranteed to
be full of energy and comedy.
Oliver Gray and Dean Horner will be bringing
lots of laughter to the stage as the Ugly Sisters
and pantomime dames, whilst the wonderful
Buttons will be played by James Dangerfield.
Pantomime producer Paul Holman from
Paul Holman Associates said: “This year’s
production will be high in energy, high on
comedy and will definitely get more than a Len
Goodman ‘seven’ from our Sussex audiences!
There may have to be a Strictly dance-off at the
Prince’s ball where we see Camilla and Matt
come together in a clash of the champions!
A new script has been written by Worthing
favourites and pantomime stalwarts Simmons
and Simmons, I’m certain the Pavilion Theatre
will host the most magical of all Christmas
balls.”
