Parham House and Gardens is a serene estate
nestled in the picturesque Downs set within
an ancient deer park. This idyllic setting is
perfect for this year’s new event, the Parham
Harvest Fair on Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th
September 2015.
Celebrating the abundance of produce that
autumn brings and the traditional rituals of
harvest time, Parham’s Harvest Fair brings
together the very best of homemade food,
locally grown produce and small holding, as
well as activities such as deer walks, fungi
foraging sessions and seasonal cookery
demonstrations. This event is an amalgamation
of the highly successful ‘Grow Your Own’ and
‘Autumn Foraging’ events, based around the
burgeoning interest in cookery and food, both
eaten and home-grown.
This year (on Saturday 26th) ITV’s
This Morning chef Phil Vickery will be
demonstrating some of his favourite seasonal
game recipes from his recent book Game with
the ingredients being sourced directly from the
Parham Estate. On Sunday 27th, Rosemary
Moon will be back by popular demand,
showing us how to create delicious dishes with
the very best fresh produce of the season.
Adults £10.00, Senior Citizens £9.00, Children
(5-15yrs) £5.00 and Family (2 adults & up to 4
children) £28.00. Includes entry to the event
plus the House & Gardens. Season Tickets
holders are FREE.
There will be the popular ‘Outdoor Working
Arena’ filled with interesting demonstrations,
including gundogs, a truffle expert and heavy
horses. There will also be experts giving advice
on beekeeping
