There are a number of different themed walks available, depending on
where and what you want to see and discover more about. The Pevensey
Ghost Walk takes place every Saturday at 7.30pm, and lasts for 90
minutes. Here you will hear about white ladies and smugglers, murders
and mysteries – and it’s taken by lantern light for even more atmosphere!
The Lewes Ghost Walk is very popular, and must be booked in advance.
The Alfriston Ghost Walk includes spectral hounds, the famous Blue
Lady, and smugglers’ tales to scare you (in a fun way, of course!). Each
tour costs £8 per adult and £4 per child except for Alfriston (£6 per adult,
£3 per child).

Sussex and neighbouring Kent are famous for their long history of
smuggling. It was a bloody and brutal time, and the history and stories
that come from it are endlessly interesting. On this guided walk, follow
the route taken by smugglers in the eighteenth century through
Romney Marsh to Rye and discover who smuggled what and why.
