Jethro Carr
of Kitchen Academy at Kingscote
Kingscote Estate is set in the beautiful Kingscote Valley near East Grinstead

caught up with chef Jethro Carr to find out
more about his Kitchen Academy courses at
Kingscote.
Tell us a bit about your experience in the
food and drink industry, and what led you
to launch Kitchen Academy 13 years ago?
I have been working in hospitality since my
first job as a teenager in a country house
hotel in Devon. Over the years I have done
different types of chef work from hotels, pubs,
restaurants and event catering. I have loved
working in the food industry and miss the rush
of working in a hectic kitchen; however, wh [
