Privateers & Revolutionaries Weekend // 11-12 July
The privateers, smugglers, and revolutionaries of Raven Tor Living History
Group will face the 2nd Queen’s Regiment of Foot, who will seek to
restore peace and order to the grounds of Arundel Castle. With displays
of weapons of the period, two encampments of smugglers and Red
Coats, The Ragged Victorians and have-a-go archery for over 8s, there
will be plenty for visitors to see, experience and learn during this funpacked weekend.

Festival of Archaeology Weekend // 10-12 July
Come and see an
exhibition about the
building archaeology of
two of the houses in the
Weald and Downland
Museum’s collection:
Longport Farmhouse
from Newington, Kent
and the house from
Walderton, Sussex. The
exhibition will be on show
in the hall from Crawley.
A family-friendly trail will help you to discover different aspects of building
