Castle Siege // 23-25 May
It is 1475 and Edward IV is King of
England. Once again tensions have arisen
between England and France. Seeing an
opportunity, a French force has crossed
the channel, seized the Kings Ordinance
(artillery) and surrounded the castle at
Arundel. A large tented encampment

positioned on the upper grounds of the
Castle will host an armourer and Distant
Trumpets Story Teller as well as three prominent living history groups in
the form of Raven Tor, The Wessex Alliance and The Company of St.
Barbara. The Bank Holiday Weekend will be alive with the sights and
sounds of battle and conflict.
