BARTERCARD:
INTEREST FREE BUSINESS
SOLUTION FOR 2015
Sussex small to medium enterprises (SMEs) are acting quickly
to seize modern-day, interest free lines of credit through
Bartercard. Over 2,500 SMEs in the UK are using the modern
day Barter exchange system to increase cashflow and
profitability and weather the economic storm.
Sussex Bartercard managing director, Chris Edworthy says: “While
Bartercard is useful for operating a business in any economy, its full
potential as a true business asset is realised during tough times, and if
you want to move your business forward.”
Bartercard Sussex, with offices at Ford, near Littlehampton, was
officially launched at the end of 2014 at a networking event at the
Pelirocco Hotel in Brighton. The Bartercard Trading Programme enables
businesses to trade in goods and services without the need for cash. It
allows organisations to grow and diversify whilst saving on their outlay
and thus helping control cashflow. This age-old form of business has
been brought into the 21st century by Bartercard’s unique methods of
accountability, support and security.
Established in Australia in 1991 and in the UK in 1996, Bartercard
has seen unprecedented levels of growth in membership and trade
volume. It now facilitates trading of more than £30 million per year in the
UK and worldwide trade volume is expected to reach £2 billion this year.
By concentrating on the largest single sector of the business market –
small to medium sized enterprises – Bartercard UK has proved that this
form of trading is a vital part of the new economy.
Bartercard Sussex is looking to grow its membership in 2015,
so would like to hear from as many small and medium type
enterprises as possible in Sussex. For trading enquiries please
