Since the day the Mirabelle opened its kitchen doors back in 1989 , our restaurant has attracted numerous awards , accolades and critical notices from the UK ’ s top food writers . The Mirabelle has also featured regularly in the Good Food Guide and boasts being voted one of the Top 10 Restaurants in East Sussex . Head chef , Gerald Röser creates his menus to include seasonal classics and inspired signature dishes by mixing flavours , textures and local produce together .
