hough
empowerment may well be the predominant objective instilled by the MHRA in its endeavours, from my end, my
foremost experience in releasing this edition has been
one of respect; not just in terms of what I feel towards
the stakeholders to the Association and hence to the
Mediterranean Tourism Foundation, but more so to
that conveyed to me whilst compiling the issue.
Andrew Agius Muscat has had more than his plate full
yet he patiently guided me with his in-depth knowledge
of the subject matter.
Winston V. Zahra paused from steering his mighty fleet
and complied gracefully in allowing Steve Flinders and
myself to interview him.
This edition was co-edited by Victor Calleja and myself,
and for this I would like to convey my thanks and respect.

Alexander Bonello, Calvin Cassar and Steve Flin ders
have delivered great content with impeccable timing,
and thanks are thus due to them as well. And the contributors to the edition are all leaders in their own right
who have taken time from their busy schedules to give us
their input; for this I thank them.
I would like to thank my team at the office, which this
year has had a significant change; being that our Sales
Manager Marian Poucher retired; Andrew Farrugia
joined as our new Group Manager; and Satenik Zammit has also recently joined us in the administration department, collecting the raw material necessary for the
release of our publications. My gratitude also goes to
my wife Yulia who has spent countless hours both at the
office and at home supporting my work.
Lastly, I would like to thank our customers, who through
their repeat business, keep showing faith in our publications, and you, dear reader, for constantly finding the
