Jets Quarterback Van Dyke

Van Dykehas been phenomenal this season, throwing for 2,677 yards. Throwing 23 touchdowns (11 int). He currently sports a 122.6 quarterback rating, and did we mention the Jets are 7-0. Certainly a selling point.

Steelers quarterback Rothlisberger

Rothlisberger who is no stranger to MVP conversation has seen a rise from the shadows this year, throwing for 2,125 yards and 22 touchdowns(7 int).

2,125 yards and 22 touchdowns(7 int). He currently has a similar quarterback rating just lower than Jets quarterback Van Dyke at 116.2. The Steelers are also 7-0.

Chiefs quarterback Lynch.

Lynch has had a coming-out party this year accounting for 2,123 yards while throwing 21 touchdowns. Stats very similar to his competitors. The big difference? Lynch has only thrown 3 interceptions all season. The Chiefs are right the thick of things for a top seed in the playoffs, and Lynch has a league leading 148.2 quarterback rating that would shatter any other rating in USSML History.

Jets WR Loaf.

Loaf has been great this season. Van Dyke seems to have found his receiver that he will be throwing to for years as Loaf has accounted for 1,239 yards, finding the end zone 15 times on only 40 receptions. Loaf is an easy candidate but for every yard and touchdown Loaf gets, Van Dyke pads his stacks as well.

MVP Conversation

Prediction: I want to predict that Lynch is going to win league MVP, however I just cannot go away from Van Dyke. I believe Van Dyke is going to end up running away with is, leading his team to a 14-2 record and an eventual spot in the super bowl this season. He has too good of a defense that has given him a ton of opportunities to simply take over already in great field position leading to more touchdowns and less opportunities for a mistake.
