N.C State Center Rising On Boards
N.C State Center Chuck Rutledge has already
been the center of attention whether it was
growing up as a single child, or being front and
center on the offensive line for the N.C State
offense. This year, he has embraced that and is
having the senior year that any offensive
lineman could hope for.
Rudledge, who is projected as a 5th round pick in
the draft, had a very impressive game last week, opening the door for 3 rushing touchdowns in a 35-3 victory.
Senior runningback Reggie Burrough, a beneficiary to the excellent blocking has seen his stock rise as well. Currently projected as a 4th round pick, many scouts have moved him into the 2-3 range with the other top-tier running backs in the country.
“I owe quite a bit to him for my success. And to the rest of my offensive line, if there not blocking, I am not running.” Said Burrough. “If things worked out perfectly, I would hope that not only do we both find out way into the NFL, but that we also end up on the same team. I can’t think of a better teammate to have”.
