HUNDREDS! DESPITE HAVING THE BEST, HOTTEST, BANK HOLIDAYS THAT ANYONE CAN
REMEMBER, THIS HASN’T BEEN THE CASE, AND SO THE BUSINESS HAS HAD TO QUICKLY
ADAPT TO MAKE SURE THAT RESIDENTS OF EAST KENT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CONTINUE
TO ENJOY SOLLEY’S ICE CREAM IN THE SUNSHINE.
Solley’s Ice Cream is based in the village of Ripple,
near Deal, and has been producing delicious, awardwinning
ice cream for over 30 years now. All of the
ice cream is made in small batches on site, using
milk from the neighbouring herd of Channel Island
cows. The range includes over 15 flavours from
classics like Traditional Vanilla, Mint Choc Chip
and Wild Strawberry & Cream to more recent
additions such as the ever-popular Salted Caramel,
Jamaican Rum & Raisin and Blue Bubblegum.
A true family business, it’s been all hands on deck
as Solley’s introduced a new home delivery service
in response to the lock down restrictions. Offering
a totally contactless delivery from start to finish,
payment is taken online by card only, with the ice
cream then being delivered to the doorstep using a
“knock & drop” system.
10 waffle cones, 10 flakes and rainbow sprinkles –
perfect to keep the kids entertained with your own
at-home ice cream bar, or for a movie night in with
all the family.

our home delivery service. We’re busy working on
ways to extend this post-lock down, so do keep an

up to date.”
Delivery is available throughout East Kent, including
daily deliveries to the local area surrounding the ice

Alongside offering Solley’s delicious ice cream in
750ml tubs and 120ml single serve cups, there’s also
the option to purchase a “Solley’s Scooping Kit”
which includes a Napoli of ice cream (35 scoops!),
