Kentish Oils are a range of rapeseed oils made using
specially selected seed grown here in Kent. Once
harvested, the seed is cold pressed, filtered and
bottled in small batches just outside Canterbury at
Highland Court Farm. Alongside the original
rapeseed oil, 6 blended oils are produced, Chilli,
Garlic & Herb, Lemon, Garden Mint, Basil &
Rosemary. The oils are extremely versatile and
may be used for frying, roasting, drizzling, and even
baking. Used by chefs across the county,
Kentish Oils’ rapeseed oil is often referred to as
“liquid gold”, due to its distinct colour and ability
to transform any dish.
Kentish Oils’ rapeseed oil is also used to make
Kentish Condiments, a range of dressings, marinades
and mayonnaises also made in small batches to
traditional recipes. The dressings include Honey &
Mustard, Caramelised Shallot & Cider, Raspberry
Vinaigrette and Garden Herbs Vinaigrette; which
provide the perfect accompaniment to meat, fish,
vegetables and salads.
There are also three mayonnaises which complete
the range, Original, Chilli – made using chillies from
Kent Chilli Farm, and Garlic – made using garlic
from Jack’s Veg; which may be used as traditional
mayonnaise, for dipping and to add extra flavour to
a wide range of meals.
As well as being a Great Taste Producer, Kentish
Oils & Kentish Condiments are previous winners of
“Kent Food Producer of the Year” at Produced in
Kent’s Taste of Kent Awards – a testament to just
how delicious the range is!
