Repairing Avocado Mask
Avocado is rich in so many
nutrients including vitamins A,
D and E, beta-carotene,
potassium (the 'youth mineral'),
proteins, lecithin and essential
fatty acids. It also contains plant
steroids called sterolins which
help to soften and moisturise
the skin, reduce age spots and
heal sun damage and scars.
Another great thing about
Avocado is that it has emollient
properties and assists in the
regeneration and rejuvenation
of the skin. This makes it ideal
for mature skin, as well as
eczema and psoriasis-prone
skin, and skin that’s easily
dehydrated or has experienced
sun damage.
For normal skin types:
• Mash the flesh of half a
medium-sized organic
avocado into a creamy
texture.
• Apply the mixture to your skin
on the same day you make it,
and leave on the face and neck
for 15-20 minutes.
• Gently rinse off with warm
water then, if you wish, dab
your skin with cool Green Tea
