DINOSAURS TO RULE
ROYAL VICTORIA PLACE THIS SUMMER
THIS SUMMER, WEST KENT’S LARGEST SHOPPING CENTRE IS GOING TO
BE HOME TO SOME OF THE LARGEST CREATURES TO HAVE EVER WALKED
THE EARTH…DINOSAURS!

Dino Live will be at Royal Victoria Place in
Tunbridge Wells from Monday 1st August and
will run throughout the school holidays until
Bank Holiday Monday 28th August. The four-
week spectacular event at Royal Victoria Place
is a first for Kent and Sussex and will be open
during centre trading hours each day. Ceratosaurus, Iguanodon and the aptly named
Kentrosaurus. Children will be able to enjoy
even more fun by having their photo taken
with a baby T-Rex and, each weekend
throughout August, the ‘Dino Draw’ workshop
will allow them to get creative and learn more
about their prehistoric favourites.
Dino Live will provide visitors with a unique
journey spanning more than 250 million years.
The event consists of a series of scenes located
throughout the shopping centre, where the
dinosaurs will be displayed in environments
replicating their natural habitat. These life-
size animatronic beasts will captivate visitors
as they watch them move, roar and even
breathe. It’s as close as anyone will get to
experience these prehistoric creatures without
having to join Dr Who on one of his time
travels! “I am extremely excited that we will be bringing
this unique and exciting event to Tunbridge
Wells this summer,” said Marc Burchett,
marketing manager of Royal Victoria Place.
“This will allow us to build upon the success
of our award-winning Titanic In Photographs
exhibition last summer. Everyone is fascinated
by dinosaurs and I am sure Dino Live will
prove a roaring success with kids of all ages.”
Visitors will be able to enjoy the thrill of being
able to get up close and personal with the
famous and fearsome Tyrannosaurus Rex,
plus other life-size dinosaurs to include the

Admission is free. Children must be
accompanied by an adult at all times. All events
