AMF ASHFORD SET TO TRANSFORM INTO HOLLYWOOD BOWL
FOLLOWING £300,000 REFURBISHMENT
The bright lights of Ashford are set to become
home to a dazzling Hollywood Bowl this
summer, as the popular AMF Ashford
undergoes a major £300,000 refurbishment.
The stunning redesign will see the bowling
centre undergo a full rebrand and
refurbishment to include a brand-new
Hollywood Diner, serving gourmet dogs and
burgers, freshly made shakes served in retro
milk bottles, and signature desserts. The Diner
will sit alongside a brand-new American-style
bar serving house speciality cocktails and a
wide range of beers and wines.
Hollywood Bowl Ashford will be home to four
Hollywood legend themed VIP lanes, and
guests will soon be able to enjoy the all-star
treatment in a plush roped off area, with special
pool-style bowling balls and funky coloured
pins. The VIP lanes can be booked over the
phone, or subject to availability; upgraded to
in the centre, from as little as an additional £1
per person, per game.
The refurbishment will also see the arrival of
brand new pool tables, ideal for enjoying some
relaxed fun with family and friends.
Any of the Centre’s 18 lanes can be pre-
booked, and with lots of different areas to relax
in the Diner and bar area, Hollywood Bowl is
perfect for celebrations of all occasions; from
family gatherings and children’s parties to
nights out, work functions and informal work
socials. Team members are also always on-
hand to help set up ramps and in-lane
bumpers that give little ones a great chance
of beating the adults.
The Centre’s impressive amusement area has
also been part of the transformation and
features the latest industry leading games such
as Jurassic Park and MOTO GP Bikes, retro
games like Crossy Road and old favourites like
crane games with the latest movie related
prizes. To top it all off, there is the added
opportunity to ‘Play for Prizes’, where
customers can collect tickets won on their
favourite games and exchange them for great
goodies, from candy to a remote controlled
Red Bull Formula 1.
Lauren Seymour, general manager of
Hollywood Bowl, Ashford said: “We’re
incredibly excited about the transformation
that is taking place and can’t wait to bring the
full Hollywood Bowl experience to both new
and existing Ashford customers. The addition
of VIP lanes, a Hollywood Diner and new pool
tables will mean we something to keep
everyone entertained!”
