Googies were awarded the
Taste of Kent Awards for best
restaurant in 2016 and were
finalists at the Nationa l Burger
Awards in 2016 and 2017. As
well as their award-winning
burgers one will find an array
of in-house smoked meats
using produce of excellent
provenance. They also have vegan and gluten free options.
Googies source excellent coffee from the best independent
roasters within the UK. Their team of baristas make high quality
coffee, which is often hard to find outside of London.
Googies works in association with BREWDOG and becomes a
lively bar in the evenings, serving excellent craft beers and seasonal
cocktails as well as a superb wine list.

THE QUARTER MASTERS
Unisex clothing company The Quarter Masters opened its flagship
store on The Old High Street in 2013, which aimed to produce great
quality T-shirts featuring locally sourced art.
Now in its fourth year, The Quarter Masters has become a
renowned Kent-based brand, boasting artworks from an international
stable of designers, tattoo artists, and illustrators.
Virtually all garments are still printed in-house, and you can
even watch the process as it happens on the main work station in
the front window of the shop. Pop in and try something on!
