Big 7 Scooter Rally // June Scooter enthusiasts across the country descend on Paddock Wood each June to enjoy a day ( or more ) filled with their favourite things . The Big 7 Scooter Rally includes a quality campsite , four excellent music rooms , a national custom show , a ride out on the Saturday , and an awards show . It is the best scooter rally in the South East , and is open to all .

Chilled In A Field // July Although the organisers behind the Chilled In A Field festival are taking a break in 2017 , they have promised that this family favourite will be back bigger and better in 2018 . This is a volunteerrun festival that had its origins in London in the 1990s , but has emerged as something altogether different . With music , acts , games , food and drink , and plenty to keep everyone entertained , it will be worth the wait for 2018 .

Truckfest // Sep Held at the Hop Farm , Truckfest is a celebration of all things truck , lorry , and generally large in a vehicular sense . With special guests who , in 2017 , include Ice Road Truckers stars Lisa Kelly and Todd Dewey , this is a day out that screams fun and fast adventures . Throughout the day you can enjoy monster truck mayhem and unbelievable stunts , and in the evening there is music and food for all .

here as well including the world ’ s largest collection of Victorian oast houses . The Hop Farm was one of the biggest suppliers of hops to the London breweries through the 19th and 20th centuries , and this is where many people used to spend their summer holidays , picking the hops .

Today it is possible to find out all about the hop growing and harvesting process , and to discover exactly how those hops are used to make beer . On top of that , the family park is full of attractions for young and old including giant jumping pillows , a 4D cinema , Combat Laser Quest , a driving school for kids , children ’ s rides , live magic shows , and a huge adventure playground . All this plus donkeys , shire horses and cuddly creatures !
