There are over 100 different stalls to browse and buy from at the
Rochester Christmas Market, and each one promises something
unique and festive – and perfect for someone you know. But as well
as the chance to get all your Christmas shopping done in a genuinely
festive environment, you’ll be able to experience some exciting live
entertainment, a traditional fun fair, a craft fair, a Bavarian food village
(which includes German bratwurst sausages, hog roasts and churros), a
fully licensed bar serving mulled wine and spiced cider and guaranteed
snowfall. On the 3rd and 4th December you’ll have the added benefit of
the Dickensian Christmas Festival too!

Quex Park will host an exciting new event on the estate this winter. Spirit
of Christmas, run by Kent Events Ltd, will arrive in November – and it will
be the biggest event of its kind in Thanet. The event will have something
to attract everyone with a variety of things to see and do: a real ice
rink (the rink will be open from Saturday 26th November and will run
from 10am and close at 9pm daily (last skate 8pm). Skate hire is free);
Christmas market (an eclectic number of stalls selling a range of goods
from Christmas spirits to gifts); bar and café marquee (there will be a fully
licensed bar and on site café where you can get refreshments); grotto
and Elf Express (booking in advance is essential).

and Craft Event
