The Cherry Fair will be overflowing with juicy cherry varieties picked straight from the orchards at Brogdale. Choose your favourite to take home and enjoy! Helen and Bertram are brought up together as the son and ward of a countess. As Helen pursues her unrequited love of Bert, the plot unfolds, highlighting the insurmountable difference in class. The musical line-up on the two main stages on the prom will also include top leading tribute acts covering David Bowie (DavidLive), Take That (Fake That), Justin Bieber (Just Bieber), UB40 (Rats in the Kitchen) and local band The Unknown who will be starting the musical entertainment around midday. The festival will also have the usual array of food stalls and fun fair rides as well as two big tops with a circus workshop (where you can try your hand at juggling or test your balance on stilts) and other activities including a dance tent with a live DJ.
